Advanced Diver Course

Broaden your diving experience, while learning all about diving in our local waters!

This is the course for all certified divers! Have fun and try some of our great local diving! Our newly redesigned Advanced Diver program gives you even greater flexibility in choosing the dates for your dives. Just complete each of the five diving activities listed below and you can become an Advanced Diver! No classroom instruction is required; all your instruction is completed at the dive site with your instructor.

NIAGARA RIVER DRIFT DIVE: Dive the "Mighty Niagara"! Experience the thrill of the current and the excitement of searching for rare artifacts. Come join in the fun as you will learn how to plan and execute a Niagara River Drift Dive from shore with your staff member. We will have a very detailed briefing before each dive and a debriefing after the dive is complete. This is one of the most unique dives in the world. Divers come from all over the world just to do this dive! The cost is just $30:00. Open to all certified divers.

NAVIGATION: One of the most important underwater skills is navigating. Learning to find your way around underwater is important for dive planning and safety. You will learn advanced compass navigation skills along with learning how to use the natural bottom contours found underwater on different types of dives. This will ensure your confidence by knowing your location on every dive. The cost is just $30:00. Open to all certified divers.

NIGHT DIVE: Learn how the underwater world changes at night. See things differently at night and also see how marine life changes when the sun goes down. Our staff will show you how to plan your entry and exit points properly, how to mark your exit and several other safety procedures which will teach you how to have a fun and safe night diving experience. The cost is just $30:00. Open to all certified divers.

TOBERMORY WEEKEND: Tobermory, the friendly harbor village located at the tip of Bruce Peninsula, is headquarters to two National Marine Parks, Bruce Peninsula National Park and Fathom Five National Marine Park. Tobermory is also hailed as Ontario’s Diving Capitol, home too many world class shipwreck dive sites.

This fantastic weekend diving package includes meals for the weekend starting with Friday evening dinner, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast Sunday morning. Also included will be a full day of boat diving on Saturday (4 dives) and a half day of boat diving on Sunday (2 dives) and lodging Friday and Saturday at the “Coach House Inn” which has a swimming pool, volleyball court and a bonfire pit for our enjoyment when we are not diving.

During this weekend you will fulfill your requirements for Boat diving, Wreck diving, and Deep diving. The cost of this fun filled all inclusive weekend is only $429.00 per diver.

• Advanced Certification Card cost is just $30.00 + tax upon completion of the course.
