The Bigblue VL2x30 is the video light system you have been waiting for!  It delivers a stunning 2,000 lumens light output through a set of ultra compact single chip 30W LED video light heads (1,000 lumens each).  The 85 degree wide beam angle and even light beam provide the perfect beam for all videography - no hot-spots or periphery rings.

The system is made of T6061 grade aluminum for durability.  It comes together with two battery canisters which contain the replaceable Ni-MH rechargeable battery packs and one smart charger. By twisting open the bottom of the canister, you can replace the battery pack at ease (this allows the user to travel with supplementary battery packs, not extra canisters).

Simply attach the VL2x30 light heads to a set of our super lightweight aluminum photographic arms using Bigblue clips, sold separately, (all standard one-inch), and this Video Light System can provide reliable and long-lasting performance to satisfy the needs of discerning video professionals.

   4. The Hi-Lo power outputs on the battery canister let you choose between two output levels, Hi at 100% or Lo at 70%, extending the burn time and allowing the user to reduce the light output to avoid reflections or backscatter.
   5. The Sliding magnetic switch provides ease of use when switching between the Hi-Lo power output levels, and is designed to be insulated from all internal parts, eliminating the risk of leakage.
   6. The thermal protection system prevents the light from overheating by automatically cutting off its power in cases of prolonged use on land, or exposure to temperatures above 70C. As soon as the light cools off, the power comes back on.
