The Miniwave II incorporates the same power up feature of our popular Shockwave II. By fl ipping a switch, you can choose the required amount of light and power up from 3.0 watts to 5.8 watts. The unique switch system also offers the added security of switching to an alternate bulb fi lament in the event the filament in use burns out. XENON BULBS

XENON BULBS come closest to replicating the color temperature of daytime light. They also generate about twice the brightness and consume about half the power of traditional halogen bulbs.


Halogen and Xenon Lights are well-suited to applications where a long-throwing beam is required such as caving and search and rescue. They are less desirable for longer-term, backcountry uses, where weight and battery efficiency are a must.
