Ice Diving

Venture beneath the Ice into a whole new world!

The premier Ice Diving course in WNY is now taking registration for those divers wishing to venture beneath our soon to be frozen waters.

Dip 'N Dive's Ice Diving course, the only one of its kind in WNY, offers exciting diving plus Ice Diver Certification upon completion through SDI.

The course includes a classroom session, under the ice dives and a winter cookout. The course topics include: Pysocholgy of Ice Diving, Physiology of Cold Water Diving, Ice Diving Equipment, Site Choice & Preperation, Responsibilities & Procedures for Tenders and Emergency Procedures & Site Closing.

The course is limited to divers who are at least 18 years old and have at least an advanced certification. This is an entire specialty course and upon completion, the divers will receive Ice Diving Certification. The cost of the entire course is $175.00 and includes instruction, use of the ice diving equipment, certification fees, 2 dives, class seminar and winter cookout. If you are already a certified Ice diver, you can do the ice dives on March 1 for $65.00.
