Nowadays, Aqua Lung is one of the largest dive companies in the world, however its history goes more that half a century back. The first Aqua Lung device itself was built in 1940’s by Jacques-Yves Cousteau and Emile Gagnan. This invention has created the standard for diving regulators as we know them today. Being a pioneer in the industry, Aqua Lung company is still manufacturing the gear of highest quality, performance and reliability.
Aqua Lung International has now grown to hold 12 divisions throughout the world, and is in itself a division of Air Liquide. Having more than 200 employees in the U.S. and over 500 employees worldwide, the company manufactures not only the scuba equipment, but also a whole range of products for use on land and in the air.
