Join Scuba Jay and Christy for a trip to Cozumel and the Yucatan Peninsula for Caribbean Sea and cenote diving and an excursion to see Mayan ruins. We will be staying at the all-inclusive beautiful beachfront resort of Iberostar on Cozumel.

On Cozumel, we will be doing 4 days of 2 tank dives along the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the world’s second-largest reef system. These will be primarily drift dives among beautiful coral formations with wall drop-offs and swim-throughs that are teeming with a variety of marine life. Make sure to keep an eye out for the rare toadfish!

For the divers of the group, also included is a day of diving inland in the sacred cenotes of the Riviera Maya. Step back in time and be able to explore these sinkholes that were used as spots of worship by the ancient Mayans, who considered them doorways to the underworld. The cenote trip will be a 1 tank dive at 2 different cenotes. Weather will determine which cenotes we dive, but Dos Ojos is usually one of the cenotes frequently traveled to.

Last, but certainly not least, we will take a bus tour for a day trip to the famous ruins of Chichen Itza. One of the largest Mayan cities with ruins such as The Grand Ballcourt Structures, Columns in the Temple of a Thousand Warriors and, of course, the Temple of Kukulcan. Pack your camera!!

The trip package will include:

• Activities, like additional dives or snorkel trips will cost additional
