Scuba Diving Boots / Socks Size Charts
How to Choose the Right Wetsuit Boot Size
The right pair of diving boots will certainly help to make your dive more comfortable. You probably don't want your feet to be squeezed inside your boots or have them slipping off and rubbing against your skin while underwater. The way to prevent this is choose the proper wetsuit boots size.
Generally, scuba diving boots should fit similar to a shoe, and are often of the same size. However, you need to be aware that dive boots only come in whole sizes, so if you are a half size, you will need to round it up. It is recommended to go with a half size larger. If the boot is slightly loose, you can always add a pair of 2mm or 3mm neoprene socks. This will make the boot fit more snugly and add some warmth.
Keep in mind, dive boots are labeled in men’s sizes. Some manufacturers do include the proper women’s size in their diving boots size chart. If this is not the case, women should simply subtract 1 size from their shoe size (for example, women's size 7 would be men's size 6).
Boot sizing varies by manufacturer, so look through the following dive booties size charts carefully.
