How We Collect and Curate Reviews for Brands
When it comes to choosing the right products, we understand that reviews play a crucial role in making informed decisions. That’s why we've gone the extra mile to carefully curate reviews for every brand and product type showcased on our site. Here’s a quick overview of how we collected and organized these reviews:
Step 1: We Collected Customer Reviews
First, we started by exporting all the reviews we’ve received from our customers. Then, we sorted them by both brand and product type. For example, if you’re browsing Cressi fins, you'll see reviews specifically about their fins, not other Cressi gear.
Step 2: We Identified Gaps in Reviews
Once we had our customer reviews organized, we looked for any gaps – brands or product types that didn’t have enough feedback from our users. This way, we could make sure no brand or product type was left out.
Step 3: We Researched Official Brand Reviews
For those gaps, we turned to the brands' official websites to gather more relevant reviews. We wanted to ensure we provided a well-rounded perspective by including feedback directly from the brand's community.
Step 4: We Explored Third-Party Platforms
If we couldn’t find sufficient reviews on the official site, we took our search further. We explored trusted review platforms like Trustpilot, Google Reviews, and other relevant sources to gather feedback. This helped us paint a full picture of each brand’s strengths and areas for improvement.
Step 5: We Showcased the Top Reviews
After gathering reviews from multiple sources, we compiled the five most common and insightful reviews for each brand and product type. These are showcased in dedicated sections on both the main brand pages and their sub-pages (like Cressi’s fins page), giving you a clear sense of the pros and cons of both the brand as a whole and specific product types.
Our goal is to make your shopping experience as transparent and informative as possible, ensuring you have all the details you need to make the best choice for your needs.
