Casio G-Shock GWG1000, or the Mudmaster, is a watch that you can take anywhere with you. It was engineered to withstand and perform equally well under a variety of challenging conditions. A special Alpha Gel layer inside the watch protects it from possible damage due to vibration, making it possible to wear the Mudmaster while operating heavy machinery. As the name suggests, the watch also employs a special guard structure for mud resistance. Button pipes, gaskets, air vents - all guard against mud intrusion. What’s more, such a complex construction enhances the watches strength and helps to alleviate shocks.
As for the functionality, GWG1000, similar to many other G-Shock models, has a version 3 Triple Sensor, which allows you to check the direction, barometric pressure, and temperature easily. Note that this model is both analog and digital. The time is displayed with the help of the three traditional hour, minute and second hands, while such features as date, world time, alarm, etc. are presented in a digital window. Some other positives are solar power and atomic timekeeping.
The watch is quite large, but very aesthetically pleasing. Namely, the case diameter is 5.6 centimeters and the depth is 18 millimeters. The back of the watch, as well as the strap keeper are stainless steel. The face is protected by sapphire crystal, so you can be sure it won’t get scratched. There are two LED lights illuminating the dial. The wings on the strap ensure an excellent fit even on smaller wrists. The 1A3 in the name of the watch defines the color of the band, which in this particular case is military green. All buttons have a checkered surface for firmer operation, and the overall design is very tough and industrial looking.
