Mares SXS 62X Scuba Dive Regulator - INT

MaresSKU: 221331

Sale price$478.95 USD

Description

The SXS 62X scuba diving regulator is the newest, most compact second stage on the market. Ideal for travel divers, but also great for those looking for a streamlined second stage.

62X First Stage

The 62X first stage is made with a chrome "pearl" finish. This makes it highly resistant to abrasion, while offering a unique, elegant appearance. Comes standard with Mares Auto-Sealing Technology (AST). The AST system is automatically activated by air flow without any mechanical solution for maximum reliability, creating anti-flooding protection that keeps the first stage dry in all conditions.

The 62X first stage features pre-oriented low pressure (LP) and high pressure (HP) ports. All low pressure (LP) ports offer Mares' patented Dynamic Flow Control (DFC) for high, consistent airflow at all depths.

SXS Second Stage

The SXS second stage is our smallest, most compact second stage made with ultra-lightweight technopolymer. It features a Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) with a “curved” bypass tube for maximum airflow. The most prominent feature is a lateral exhaust tube that offers better visibility in all diving positions. Also, this regulator can be used on either the left or right side for maximum comfort.

DFC - Dynamic Flow Control

Minimizes intermediate pressure drop during inhalation thus maximizing gas delivery, especially under extreme conditions.

VAD - Vortex Assisted Design

The air bypass tube conveys air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low pressure area in the center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths.
