Suunto MC-2G/IN is a compass that you can really rely on wherever and whenever you go. First of all, it uses the global balancing system, which means that the needle won’t be affected by magnetic variances. Even if you are not a world traveller, you will still be able to appreciate the advantage of having a global needle, as it allows to use the compass even when it is not leveled perfectly. So, with this instrument you will be able to get an accurate reading even when it is tilted up to 20 degrees.
A large aiming mirror and a sighting hole below it help to get a precise bearing on a distant object. The compass also includes an adjustable declination scale and comes with a key to set the desired declination. The built in inclinometer allows to measure slopes and angles, which is a nice additional feature that may come in handy from time to time.
